May 2004 - Perry Slingsby Systems Opens New Offices
In an ongoing effort to strategically position their business units, Perry Slingsby Systems - an entity of the Technip Group specialized in remote operated vehicles (ROV) - has opened two new offices in key offshore industry locations to better serve both their existing customers and their new clients.
The new Houston office will be managed by Wayne Bywater. Mr. Bywater has 27 years of experience in the offshore industry including operations management, ROV services, marine contracting, subsea deepwater development, and deepwater business development.
The new Aberdeen office will be managed by David Gillies. Mr. Gillies has a broad range of experience in mechanical and industrial offshore systems. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, Mr. Gillies has 25 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas, ROV and nuclear industries. Martin Anderson, CEO and Managing Director stated "Perry Slingsby Systems is aggressively expanding into subsea engineering services and subsea tooling system markets.
The new Houston and Aberdeen offices, combined with Perry's existing facilities in the UK and US, give Perry Slingsby Systems the resources that are necessary to handle the increased demands for subsea design, engineering and manufacturing services".
