Positions based in Houston, Texas:
Engineering Manager
B.S. in Engineering and a minimum of 8 years subsea industry experience. Position will oversee engineering functions including support of sales activity and proposals; ensuring manufacturability of design; coordination of engineering resources; conformance to engineering design, budget and schedule; adherence to engineering standards; and support of product and business development activities. We are looking for a self starter with outstanding people skills and hands on leadership ability.
Production Supervisor
Position will oversee production efforts and coordinate resources for internal, external and offshore operations. Additional responsibilities include production planning, progress reporting, workload projections and resources scheduling. A minimum of 3 years production supervisory experience and strong technical skills required. Hydraulics experience preferred. Experience with ROV/subsea systems a plus.
3D Modeler
Creates low polygon count meshes for real-time model simulations of interactive applications for Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s), their work environments, and objects found within those environments. Must have strong visual aesthetics experience and be capable of communicating effectively with co-workers and developers to ensure integrity of designs. Experience with Multigen Creator or the equivalent Carbon Graphics product, previous testing of 3D objects in real-time applications and knowledge of terrain building tools a plus.
Simulation Engineer
Implementation of software simulation on a multiple PC, multiple display architecture and support the implementation of hardware based real-time 3D interactive simulation. Also responsible for performing tests for hardware and software compliance and extending existing physics-based simulation to new types of vehicle and behaviors. B.S.E.E./C.S. and proficiency in C/C++ programming in Windows and UNIX/Linux environments required. Must be capable of communicating effectively with co-workers and developers and have strong grasp of physics concepts. Prior experience in gaming or visual simulations a plus.
Sr. Electrical Engineer
BSEE with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design, fabrication support and testing of subsea electrical and electronic systems. Experience in subsea control systems, instrumentation, umbilicals, cabling and connectors required. Familiarity with subsea fiber optic systems preferred. ROV systems and positioning systems experience a plus.
Designer/Detailer
Motivated and experienced designer/detailer with a minimum of 5 years experience designing/detailing mechanisms, power transmissions and structural components, electrical assemblies, preparing drawing packages, blue print checking, and supporting shop personnel during fabrication and testing. Competency in AutoCAD and 3D design tools required with SolidWorks experience preferred. Experience with marine environment and materials a plus.
